a few days in LA

As most of you know, we spent a few days in LA (in June!) so we could attend Valerie + Nate's wedding. It was amazing and we saw lots of friends (although sadly not all) and enjoyed the unusually clear blue sky and the warmth of the wonderful LA sun.

I heart LA.

summertime and Canal Saint-Martin

The Canal Saint Martin is a favored summertime drink spot. You can buy drinks at the local cafe or bring your own picnic and hang out at the edge of the canal, if you can find a spot. This is also a popular hangout for the young boules/bocce players.
