Paris days are ending...some random shots

Sending packages of books to the US, hmm, how do we carry the box to the post office...?
In the recycling bin! Of course!

Cute little garbage truck near the Etienne Marcel metro stoop
Found another space invader attack
Nice, typical architecture in the 1st Arrondissement
Creperie! Yum.
In the metro station

chez jeannette

one of the hippest bars in Paris, and of course one of our favorite hangouts.

the bathroom.
one reason i took this picture and am sharing it is because i am fascinated that in many bars/restaurants in paris, the men's urinal was out in the open and to get to the private stall you walk by the urinal and the man using it.
urinal close up

i also liked this hand dryer - airblade!

reflections

The pyramid by I.M. Pei casts a nice reflection on the Louvre

Le Baiser - Auguste Rodin

Rodin is a French sculptor most famously known for...The Thinker.
This is one of his sculptures that we came across while walking through Paris.
Le Baiser = "the kiss"
