This is the oldest exisiting bridge in Paris, over the Seine.
I love the different faces that run along each side of the bridge and around.
I haven't been able to find out anything on the web in regards to their significance so it looks like I might have to make a visit to the library for that information (yea for libraries!) I took many photos of this bridge to try to capture the distinctive expresssions of each face.
Have you seen "Les amants du Pont-Neuf" with Juliette Binoche? It's an incredible film, most of the story takes place on the Pont-Neuf bridge when it was under construction in the 80's.
