Stravinsky Fountain

This is near our apartment, and even closer yet to the Centre Pompidou.  This is called the Stravinsky Fountain and it's full of mechanical sculptures that are continually spraying and squrting water.  Unfortunately I didn't stop to take photos, so these don't capture how amazing this piece (these pieces) actually are.  Maybe when you come visit me in Paris I'll take you there!

Found this on the web: In 1982, Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely created the Stravinsky fountain in Paris, located next to the Centre Georges Pompidou's IRCAM Music Center. 16 mechanical sculptures inspired after Igor Stravinsky's music gyrate and blow water in a distinctly modern piece.
